Iron & Grass

One of the best restaurants in the Hudson area :) I was excited about this place after enjoying the chef’s/owner’s dishes at the Clermont Cafe… Iron and Grass does not disappoint! The food, the setting, and the service are all excellent. They did a beautiful renovation job on the building. The plates are prepared with such care, and the ingredients are high quality!! There are plenty of amazing meat options, but there are wonderful veg options for people as well! Just a great experience all around - it is so worth the 10 min drive outside of town!

So much good to say about our experience at Iron and Grass! The food and service were perfect. Impeccable from the beginning to the end. This is a new restaurant but clearly has a lot of experience. The table setting, presentation of the plates, the very interesting menu, but most importantly, the quality of the service. Russell had just the right touch with our party, and was perfectly present: there when needed, away when we were fine. I could go on, but see for yourself!

Dinner was beyond excellent for this fairly new restaurant in Livingston just 10 minutes from Hudson. We were pleasantly surprised to experience the 5 course prefix menu for this New Years Eve, that was not only delicious but plated beautifully from start to finish from the CIA trained Chef who was friendly enough to introduce himself and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The oysters, beet salad, buttered brussel sprouts, dry aged beef, all perfectly cooked including the steak, and Yule log desert was amazing!! Worth every morsel and drop!!
